IRTPRO™ 5.1 now includes a new ICC/TIF plot display control option for univariate models.
Plot Theta = n
keyword has been added to the Miscellaneous command syntax and is accessible in the GUI via the Analysis, Advanced Options option from the main menu. Previously, the X-axis of graphs were automatically set to display values between -3 and 3 for these graphs. By setting n to the user’s integer of choice, the range of this axis can now be adjusted.
FEATURES
IRT Models for which item calibration and scoring are implemented in IRTPRO™ are based on unidimensional and multidimensional [confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) or exploratory factor analysis (EFA)] versions of the following widely used response functions:
• Two-parameter logistic (2PL) (Birnbaum, 1968) [with which
equality constraints includes the one-parameter logistic
(1PL) (Thissen, 1982)].
• Three-parameter logistic (3PL) (Birnbaum, 1968)
• Graded (Samejima, 1969; 1997)
• Generalized Partial Credit (Muraki, 1992, 1997)
• Nominal (Bock, 1972, 1997; Thissen, Cai, & Bock, 2010)
These item response models may be mixed in any combination
within a test or scale, and any (optional) user-specified equality
constraints among parameters, or fixed values for parameters,
may be specified. IRTPRO™ currently uses IRT models for single-
level multivariate data sets.
• Saving of data sets and parameter estimates generated using
the BOOTSTRAP option of the ANALYSIS command.
• Scaling of sampling weights when the KNOWNCLASS option
of the VARIABLE command is used. This scales the weights to
the total number in each known class which is also what is
done using multiple-group analysis
