With OiDViEW's SNMP MIB Browser, field, network or support engineers and analysts can easily load standard and proprietary MIB files, view and manipulate data available in SNMP agents by browsing MIBs and performing other SNMP management operations.The MIB Browser can also analyze SNMP mibwalk files from multiple vendors! No other MIB browser can do this!
ByteSphere's patented MIBSense TM and MIBAcquire TM technologies have revolutionized the MIB browsing experience! Our agent identification code will automatically determine the correct vendor for the SNMP agent, then download and install any available enterprise MIBs for that vendor. oiDViEW will then determine which MIBs are needed to manage the SNMP agent and load them as desired. The Enterprise MIBs are pre-compiled and located on ByteSphere's website. With over 500,000 MIB objects in our online library, it allows OiDViEW to automatically access the world's largest commercial MIB database!
MIB tree representation, proxy OID/value response, searchable MIB variable grid and MIB variable definition details window are all easily available on the same screen (unlike most other MIB browsers)! The view layout can be modified to meet the needs of any user. Clicking on a MIB variable or OID in any part of the screen automatically causes all other parts to be updated, MIB definitions are automatically parsed and displayed in the MIB information panel, and values are converted according to MIB definitions and displayed in the LiveGrid. MIB Viewer is the most powerful and versatile analysis tool of its kind in the industry.
MIB variables are stored - OiDViEW remembers the presence and absence of MIB variables (or not yet queried) for each different session until the MIB browsing session is "unloaded". The session remains "loaded" in the database until you delete it from the list of opened sessions - whether you exit the OiDViEW MIB browser or restart the computer! OiDViEW also remembers where the analyzed session was last stopped and how the screen was configured. No other MIB viewer has these features!
